Becoming the food of the future. Embedding sustainability into your company's organisational structure

In recent years, sustainability has ceased to simply be a novel buzzword within the food & beverage industry becoming an integral part of business practices. Established companies and new ventures alike are facing the difficulties of positioning sustainability into their corporate structures and communicating their efforts to their consumers and stakeholders. At the same time, environmental factors continue to present new challenges to companies that are feeding the global population. The key question now is; how can food producers develop a holistic sustainability strategy that merges their business and environmental goals?

Building upon last year’s premier edition, our 2014 event will focus on specific sustainability issues, strategies and initiatives within the industry. The programme will touch upon the practical management aspects of sustainability including reducing environmental impact, food waste, reporting and communication. It will also address how sustainability is now core to business operations, product development and growth.

E.N.G.’s 2nd annual Sustainable Development for the Food & Beverage Industry Summit includes high-level presentations, an interactive panel debate, focused roundtable discussions and excellent networking opportunities making it an industry event not to be missed.

Engage in real business stories, best practices and discussion forums that will consider the following issues:

• Defining the steps needed to best integrate sustainability into your company’s day-to-day business

• Reducing waste by optimising the use of raw materials and creating value out of by-products

• Pinpointing key links within the supply chain to lower a product’s carbon footprint

Join us in Berlin for an event that is on the pulse of the key issues within the food & beverage industry.
